So ive been playing this game for about 5 years and can understand why people are getting a bit bored, 5 years of anything will do that and ive been looking at quick and easy ways to freshen up the content without making major sweeps.
I would like to see a rank switch introduced so you can switch the rank of any like for like star champ in your roster for 24 hours, once a month.
Say youre bored of your roster, you have a 5 star Drax sitting there for the last two years as he used to be a good Mordo counter and you arent pulling anyone new, with a rank switch you would be able to swap the rank of your r1 5 star Human Torch for your r5 5 star Drax just to see what the synergy with Thing is like or the F4 synergy as hes the last piece. (i know youd likely rank Human Torch up from r1, its just one of many examples for synergies)
Perhaps youve been stuck on the Champion boss in act 6.2 for the last 6 months and just need a possible counter like Morningstar (ok maybe bad example with the current change but go with it) you would get 24 hours to attack that content and still likely to spend during that small timeframe (if youre a spender) to get past it but you'd at least have a shot and it would be something fresh to look forward to each month. It wouldnt make niche bosses such an issue and MCOC could continue to do so for other content if this were an option for the player.
You have an r1 Night Thrasher and heard he was good but cant dedicate the resources to someone you arent sure about... you could play him at rank 5 in some valid content and see if he suits your play style.
Youve just pulled 5 star Thor but heard his armour break isnt as potent as the 4 star was, you get to see for yourself and then have a more informed rank up decision after the switch reverts.
Works for players wanting to test the new Hulkbuster or any future do overs of old champs too.
Would love to see this tried and theres obviously a lot of other things they could look at but this seems quick and easy and lets you discover champs youve barely used. Would be interested to see if people would want this as an addition in the game.
