6 star colossus, am I missing something?

Pulled this guy from a cav yesterday

I heard he was really good for labyrinth so I took him in with a synergy team and was massively underwhelmed. I am running suicides, but I find my r5 guillotine is much better than this guy

It seems a lot of you have never actually used colossus.

He's far better awakened
And you literally don't need to parry even once... Lol.

You don't NEED to parry, but it gives his damage a massive boost. I could say that domino doesn't NEED parry, but playing her parry heavy style with rulk and masacre synergies increases her damage by a ton

I have both g2099 and colossus at R5. She is probably a better lab option but colossus can be very viable if played correctly. His sig helps you keep your armors and I find it very useful.

The game has become less and less about skill and more and more about which champs you have. Had there been some kind of cap on the levels of hp the game would be entirely about skill. Now success or failure depends on whether or not you possess certain champs at certain ranks. Doom takes zero skill to win with, fury requires no skill to win with...and i assume there are more ahead that will not require awakening or skill to win with.

Since when does Ægon not need to be awakened?

no skill? If you had no skill you would get comboed into oblivion and die. You still have to be good at parry and dex, and also be decent at baiting specials. Not every champ should require the same amount of skill as quake.
Before you say that champs take no skill, why don't u play with them first?

Hell Sentinel and Colossus managed to auto fight ROL WS!
If that requires skill, then I guess I'm a god for dexing Iron man's l1

noob friendly, but still not pre 12.0 scarlet witch like. You still need to learn to bait, dex, and parry. You can't just hit hit hit hit hit anymore.

Before awakening my Colossus I can't remember getting over 8/9 armour ups.
He desperately needs awakening for the big crit numbers.

U need to build up his permanent armour to see his real damage. For this throw his l1 to build up his armour. For long fight it’s necessary.

There is a speed run of colossus in Labrynth.You can laugh but he actually completed labrynth quicker than ghost.He also outdamages x 23 in labrynth.There are tons of videos if you want to see them.

So much nonsense in this thread. Colossus tears through labyrinth and you don’t need to parry once, you can still hit 30k mediums, 60k heavies etc at r5.

For me the tactic is spam sp1 until 20 permanent armours and then cycle sp2 as fast as possible. You can regularly hit 50 armour which is crazy damage and powergain. Use 200% power boost and I’d imagine you could get another 20/30 stacks up. Will be trying that next run, keep forgetting!

I actually avoid parry in LOL so I can use the stuns when I get them from specials. You do want to parry projectiles though to increase armour faster.

I’m gonna try Emma/omega/beast/cosmic im next, you get 12% special boost and 15% attack boost from the last 2. Found that team to be highest possible damage so far.
