2* synergies

Is there any particular reason why some 2* champs are missing synergies? I just went through a bunch of my 2* and Sentinel and Heimdall don't appear to have any synergies with anyone.

    I find it really odd that Heimdall of all champions doesn’t have any synergies.

    All his synergies are too powerful to give to a 2* champ.

    That’s what I thought, but does that really apply for Sentinel?
