He/she wants to do away with the normal cavalier crystal that has a chance at 3-6*, and instead have the ability to buy the nexus crystal with the same 3-6* champs.

Obviously the nexus would give you the option to choose one of the 3 champs.

That's the way it should be. If 3*s are there in the crystals for a reason. If you want me to explain why I could.

I could also explain why putting 5* Nexus crystals up for sale would be a horrible idea too.

Okay.

3*s are in the cavs for balance. This is to ensure P2P players have no big advantage over F2P players. Sure, the P2P players could buy more cavs, but that doesn't guarantee that they're going to get 5 or 6*s from them.

If 3*s were removed, then the chance of getting a 4* would be greater. A guaranteed 4* crystal costs more than 200 units. Therefore, you would have to raise the price on the cavs, to about 400 units per basic. This already creates a divide between the F2P and P2P.

Furthermore, if the drop rates of 5 and 6*s were to be increased, the P2P players would benefit the most because they have more of an access to those 5 and 6*s, since they're opening more cavs, and the chance of pulling one of those is higher.

Now to the 5* nexus. How much would that cost? As of right now, a basic 5* costs around $70-100. How many units would you have to spend on one nexus? That would just create an enormous gap between the F2P and P2P because the F2P can't possibly rack up that many units in the same time the P2P players can.

Overall, it's just a horrible idea.

Yes they have more chances at a 5 or 6* out of a cavalier, but that doesn't mean they're going to get a 5 or 6*. What you're suggesting is not only a guaranteed 5* but a 5* that you could choose out of 3. That's just unfair to the F2P.
