Ronins antman synergy not providing full bonus

The synergy states when in guard stance ronin gains an extra 25% block profiency this on a parry with 3 points in it and 4/4 in the block profiency mastery would bring him to about 119% block profiency which should be guaranteed perfect blocks however this is not the case

Block proficiency is ~69% from base and mastery +25% from synergy for ~94% block proficiency. Are you thinking that the parry mastery should increase block proficiency?

Parry mastery doesn't increase Block Proficiency.
It reduces incoming damage only when a well timed block is performed.

Block proficiency of 80% will reduce 1000 to 200. Then parry mastery will reduce 200 to 150.

Reducing damage by 25% isn't 25% Block Proficiency. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

Good point. Something is not adding up. With the synergy, Ronin should have greater BP than CAIW, but he still doesn't have 0 damage parries.

The synergy is def broken. He should have perfect parries.

4.534 Blockprof is 69,4% + 25% less damage through parry = 94,4% and if you add the synergy he should not take damage when parry.

You are right its additive. Its strange if you think about it.

Best example:

Omega is 90% "bleed immune"
If you unlock Coagulate Mastery 1/3 (-10% bleed damage)

he becomes Bleed Immune except if the enemy has a node like + 40% bleeddamage.

In that case the math is:

140% - 100% = 40% bleeddamage

I dont know why they do it like that but thats how it works.

It’s because they operate on the base value and not the modified value, thinking in fractions makes it easier to see.
+40% = 140/100
90% (90/100) +10% (10/100) = 100/100

I mean it looks like you still have very good block proficiency seeing as you took 59 damage from an act 6 opponent. Although this needs looking at at least it’s not super serious like it would be if he was taking 100s of damage through the block

59 damage for an act 6 enemy could be 0,935% damage 🤔

If you say its not flat 25% increase but on the numbers then it would be as you said:

5.667 = 73,9% + 25% (from parry) = 98,9%

So he take 1,1% damage - his armor (15%)
would be 1,1 × 0,85 = 0,935% damage taken on parry.

That or its bugged.

Even in the synergy they use both notations "gain +25%" and increase "by 35%". I was thinking the former was a flat addition and the latter was multiplicative because that made more sense. Now I'm thinking, "It's Kabam, so who knows how they mean for it to work yesterday vs today vs next week".
