Apple will remove thousands of games in China, will MCOC be one of them?

Hi Kabam, just wondering if MCOC is going to be one of the games that will be removed by Apple in China in the coming weeks? I am quite worried about MCOC being one of these games that are not “approved” by the government here. Ultimately, the government here runs and controls everything.

My Apple account is registered thru USA Apple but I’m not even sure how something like this would work if it is to be banned. Please let me know so I can let my alliance find a replacement for me now and I can start doing the things I would need to do to end my MCOC.

Damn that would suck tho. But i doubt kabam will stop the game being in china especially if they relaunched it last year

That post says that Android has followed the rules since 2016 and mcoc is approved in China so I would bet that it's also approved for Apple.

there are so many huge chinese whales in the game, that would suck for kabam.
Then again, these guys probably have to money to get a VPN

Did you not read what the statement says.. Apple will be removing the apps.. so it's not at the discretion of the developer (kabam) if their app is listed or not..

Yea.. Considering you can run a VPN for a couple $$/month.. i'd assume that what most would do if not doing so already..
