Logging in problems with my Nexus 5x given to me by kabam

Ever since the last update I have only been able to log in once or twice. Please advise on what to do. Have cleared cache, force closed, deleted and reinstalled. All efforts have done no good. Hard to lead an alliance if I can't log in and Participate myself.
