The problem with looking on the bright side.

So you do see lots of players complaining about bad luck or posting about pulling 6* Gamora for example. There are ALWAYS people on those threads who say stuff like “oh well they can be used in X scenario” or “Y aspect of this champion has a niche utility here” now that’s fine and all but look at it this way.

If somebody pulls a 6* Gamora for example, yes it can be argued that she gains lots of buffs and can deliver some decent damage (learnt this on my V4 run with my 1* Gamora) but then if you’ve saved weeks for this 6*, doing all sorts of hard content then you don’t want Gamora, you want somebody REALLY good. For completion of Act 6 6* Gamora feels like a kick in the face. You do this game for the beyond god tier champions, not the meh champions who are occasionally used.

Yes, but that's just RNG. When you go into a casino, you're gambling, just like when you open a crystal. There's a chance of getting that jackpot on the slot machine, but there's also a chance of getting nothing at all. That's why it's thrilling because you don't know what you're going to get. It's the same thing with crystals as well. I want to see my crystal roll over a dud and land on a Doom. That's exciting.

Believe it or not, my first 6 star crystal was actually Gamora, and honestly, I wasn’t mad. She does a lot of content pretty well, and I take her into a lot of quests.

Gamora imo is the perfect example of "not happy about this crystal, but definitely not mad about it".
Sure you won't be the happiest person in the world if you get her after a long grind and big effort, but like they said before me, it's RNG.
i generally base my "happiness" for a crystal in the following partition:
- Champs that i need;
- Champs that i'll never ever ever use outside of Arena / dupes on meh champs;
- Champs "in between"
The secret is dividing the first two categories equally. If you'll be happy with beyond god tier and mad with everything else, i assure you that you'll be mad 90% of the time, and you'll lose the fun part of the game

The only guarantee to completing content is the chance at high level champs, nothing guarantees you'll get them. Frustrating, yes, but that's the RNG we've been dealing with from the beginning.

I have a duped 6* gamora and if I could be bothered to use her in act 6 she would do well enough in some situations.

1. Your chances of pulling something amazing in a 6-star pool is low.
2. The chances you'll pull something meh is high.
3. If you let bad pulls wreck you, you're in trouble.
4. Let's hope they follow thru with these two-champs-a-month buffs, and soon our chances of pulling good 6-stars will improve a ton.

And, what's your point with this?
For sure we know when someone complains about getting a champion, is because that champion wasn't desired by the player. That's how it has always been, if half the champion's are non-desirable, then you have 50% chances to get any of those champions. And complaining about it will not change what you end up getting
