Why not incorporate a smaller map like aw or aw and allow friends to do 3v3 or 5v5? Other games turned into eSports (counter strike, world of Warcraft pvp, etc).
This gives you more revenue stream, creates more game awareness, and let's you control information to the public better.
It also gives you great feedback. The extra coverage that people watch creates better players and gives people something to shoot for which increases this games standing amoung other games
