Havok vs armor up in AW

Can someone explain why Havok is causing damage when his plasma detonate in AW against steady buildup-fury.

It happened against a Colossus and a Warlock both with active armor ups

    It might be because the node Cold Turkey? I can't remember if that node has Cold Turkey on it, but if it does, that'd explain the damage since that node deals damage when you purify debuffs and I think that when you reach ten plasma charges, the detonation counts as a purifying effect for the game, but I could be mistaken.

    Cold turkey isn't on the fight.
