No degen inflicted while fighting IMIW with VTD

I don't know if this has already been mentioned but here is what I noticed when fighting IMIW with VTD, while the armor buff was active and I would inflict a bleed debuff a degen should be applied but here it just says Immune and no degen. I believe it's an issue cause I read IMIW abilities multiple times and found nothing that would prevent the degen to apply.
Also this happened to me in multiple modes of the game arena, quests...

I think it’s a weird interaction with IMIW’s “conditional” bleed immunity, instead of natural bleed immunity. It should be similar to how the robot uprising synergy with Claire Voyant does not generate a fury buff when she is immune to the bleed from suicides at the start of the fight, or how VTD (probably) doesn’t inflict degen on bleed immune nodes.

Yes I thought about that "conditional" immunity as u said but VTD should inflict that degen even if IMIW is only immune to it while the buff is active imo.

He only inflicts degeneration on opponents that are bleed immune.
This means, naturally bleed immune, which IW IM isn't
