Hit Monkey sp2 guaranteed crits

When using Hit Monkey his description states that using a sp2 after landing a crit will make all hits in the sp2 guaranteed crits as well. I always follow the second medium attack with the sp2 but am not getting crits on all hits. Checked his spotlight to make sure there wasn't a secondary aspect I was missing but same as in game it just states that you have to follow one of his guaranteed crits with the sp2

    There has to be a level of speed to it, similar to ghost’s phase intercept being classed as a true intercept, the second that last combo hit lands you have to throw sp2

    as hes a new champion, not many of us can offer insight. Best bet would be to record the fight and post it so people can help determine whats wrong and kabam can look into it.
