Havok incinerate immune

My question is why the description says that havok is immune to (all forms of incinerate) but torch's nova incinerate deal damage to havok

Because Nova Flame debuffs are not Incinerate debuffs

Nova flames are not related or considered incinerate effects.
They deal energy damage, and havoc isn't immune to it

Not even torch is immune to nova flame. It’s a passive effect.

Nova flames are just passive energy damage, not an incinerate or a debuff. Nobody is immune to them but champs with energy resist take a bit less damage

Sorry to be *that guy* but Nova Flames are no debuff, which is why Havok is not immune. It's a passive effect that deals energy damage. The effect is all the same- that it isn't an incinerate debuff, but nailing down the terminology in this game can help avoid confusion such as in the case of the OP here.

Havok is immune to all forms of incinerate, that should mean buff or passive. The reason he is not immune is because HTs nova flame is NOT an incinerate, but is ONLY treated as one for HTs abilities. This is why it does not trigger other incinerat based abilities such as mephisto when he does nova flame damage.
