Yes I did but with losing 50% health.

Happened to me multiple times the last few days, really annoying, champions are losing health in aw without even fighting, ruined my score

I have the same issue. Every fight in AQ and AW starts with the screen freezing for 15 seconds. Make sure you don't wait too long to click the fight button. If the timer ticks down too low, so much so that it will expire while the screen is frozen, then game will punt you back to the map screen and you get a time out penalty.

I wrote about this issue 2 days back, game is lagging and there are still bugs related to AQ.

Clicking fight takes a bit time.
Fight ends victorious, but then network issue pops up even with full network / signal around, which later ends up losing 50% health unnecessarily.

I hope Kabam relooks into the matter and help us all
