Rank down tickets should of came with AW update

How many champions have we ranked up just for AWD & now we’re required to rank up completely different & unique champions. So the champions I recently brought up specifically for AWD are useless now. Rank down tickets should at least be sold at the stores once here & there with no expiration at least

    No, rank down tickets are for when significant direct changes occur to a character, AW changes have not effected champions unless you choose to let it effect your defense team. If you want to rank up more champions to have a diverse defence team that is your choice the use of existing defender have not changed. Back in 12.0 it was a forced direct change to almost all champions in the game and that is why rank down tickets were issued. In this case there has been a change that indirectly impacts a few champions if you choose to let it.

    I could see at most 5 generic tickets so people can decide on a new defense. But defense is pointless. I'd rank mine down and just use the cats on hard hitters for quests and events.

    So what if defence is useless? You can still use them for questing or AQ. Serisouly, stop pandering for these tickets. They aren't gonna give anything for something that doesn't concern a champ's ability being changed!

    You can still use them for questing and arena. No such thing as ranking up a champion specifically for AW. When you rank up the champion, u get his/her benefit across ALL game content, i.e. Story quest, monthly events, arena grinds, AW denfense, AW attack, increased summoner rating, etc.

    This is actually not true. Only some defenders can be used in story and event quests i.e Magik. However others such as Juggernaut or Black Panther Civil War aren't so great for questing. The same goes for Spider-Man or Auto Evaders (maybe Nightcrawler but I don't have him ranked high enough to know)

    If you rank up a champ for AW Attack they can be used elsewhere in the game comfortably.
