Mystic Heralds of Galactus

Hello, I've been playing on the Epic Difficulty for the Mystic Heralds of Galactus and I always find that whenever I'm fighting against the Doctor Doom boss, I have never seem to land a crit. Is this suppose to be something in his kit, or a bug, or perhaps it is a node I looked over? Just wanted some clarification.
