Does Wolverine's increasing sig ability make significant difference to his cell regen?

So, I have a 4-star Wolverine who I awakened using a gem and took his signature ability to Level 25. Will increasing his signature ability further make a significant and noticeable difference to his regeneration? Should I keep using signature stones on 4 star Wolvie?

He benefits from sig levels but he doesn’t need max sig to be good
