5* Crossbones

Is this guy worth awakening?

Also, should I R4 him over a duped Captain Marvel?

I've had 5* bones since his feature run. I love him, use him all the time at r4 (with mystic detect so MD didn't catch me). I would awaken mine if I had a skill stone, but it doesn't add much to him. I just really like him and awakened helps prestige obviously if you're gonna r4.

Guessing you have gem. For me it comes down to whether it's generic or skill. For anyone who's already got a dupped 5* GP

then there aren't that many other 5* skills as cool or as useful as crossbones. For a skill gem, go with Crossbones.
But if it's a generic then GP is the skill 5* you wanna focus on. Crossbone's sig is cool but it doesn't have a high probability of procing. You'll pick up Ice or Spark

and wanna use it on him! Unless you're overflowing with skill cats and not much else, save a generic gem for a 5* of a class you haven't got yet.
I'm a big fan of CapM but if you have a ton of skill cats and if it's a skill gem, Crossbones is probably more handy.

I'd save it. I'm thoroughly unimpressed with Crossbone's awakened ability with a 5/50 sig 99. He just doesn't shrug off enough debuffs to make it worthwhile, and he's probably one of my least favorite champs to play thanks to Mystic Dispersion.

Save a skill gem for Gwenpool, or save a generic for pretty much anyone with a superior sig.

Also, yes crossbones is good, but he doesn't have to be awakened, and he probably doesn't need to be r4 because what you need him for most is the defensive ability accuracy reduction and he doesn't need to be r4 to make use of that.

THIS!^^^ gp is pretty much the only skill champ worth a skill gem in the 5* pool tbh. There's other aceptions like elektra, if dd gets added, and also kingpin(idk).

Yeah CB is awesome but so is CM. CB is more usefull tho, I’d rather have him at r4 than CM

thanks for the feedback everyone! Yes I already have an R4 awakened GP otherwise it would be saved for her, I don't see another skill champ really worth a skill gem but CB would be the most worthy or maybe KP but I don't have him.

I am thinking CB over over capM. But yeah mysticD definately makes me think about the decision harder

5* awakening gems are hard to come by, CB's awakened ability is just not worth it. I would save it because you never know what skill champs are upcoming (like the rumored blade).

Definatelty R4 worthy but saving the gem is safest way to go. In no way is it game-changing to awaken CB.
