Alliance reserve spot for long term AFK members

Would you please consider creating one or two inactive reserve spots on each Alliance roster where long term AFK players can be placed without having to drop them ? Those players would not count towards the 30 player max nor would they receive alliance rewards while inactive. We have players who have, for whatever reason, needed to take a break from the game but we do not want to lose them from our group nor do they wish to leave. Their inactivity of course hurts the overall alliance production and we would like to fill their spot with a temporary member to fill out all 30 slots. We understand that should they wish to return an opening would need to be created. This action would be very helpful to our group and I am sure others as well. Thank you in advance for considering it.
