Anyone use guardian?

Tried searching for info but search isn’t returning results (bug on my end I assume).

Does anyone use Guardian (the Canadian one)? Is he worth ranking unawakened for general questing and act 6?

Any thoughts/help/tips appreciated. Not seeing a lot out there.

Thanks @Nakuul, I’m tempted to take him up for the 6.3.4 IMIW. Would like to be able to parry him. Was hoping after a ramp up he could just blow past that last 15%, you know?

can't comment on guardian, but for the search feature, you have to change the filter to all categories, not just English, which I'm assuming is a bug that's existed for a pretty long time

I have seem some people use him in AW. He is great. lots of armor, resistances all over the place, great damage, lots of fun. and that block prof he provides to the rest of your teammates very nice too.

Have him at r5 sig 200 and love playing him. I had a Tech AG available, so didn't use him very much unduped. This pic will show you what he gets from max sig.

It's been a bit, but pretty sure I ran 6.3.4 using Aegon all the way with his Labyrinth team. The main issue I see with Guardian in that fight is the 30 second power drain timer on IMIW. You're going to have to play really aggressive to get off Guardian's SP3s so he can build charges for the huge SP2.

@Xguard77 tjat is really helpful. Thank you. I forgot about that power drain. Do you think he could build
up enough through s1 spamming? Trying to find a solution for that fight. I can r5 aegon soon so may just try that I guess.

Definitely needs the dupe IMO.
Becomes much more reliable with alot more utility when duped.

Got him and love him. He'll serve you well beyond just 6.3.4. I find new and interesting ways to play him frequently. Rank him up for sure.

@DocB - you got me curious, so I just ran the path to IMIW to see how Guardian holds up in that fight. Result: got him down to 49% in one shot. Not too bad, and I played average...not great.

My rhythm was 2 SP1s, then tried to time a combo to start right as the timer refreshes. That helped me get to SP2, and each SP2 took off about 20% of his health. Feel like I could one-shot him if I went a couple more times - and maybe added a boost.

Guardian is so good at IMIW though. Without the power drain timer it would literally have felt like RTTL Winter Soldier.
