Red Magneto v. Emma Frost Interaction?

So I'm not sure if this interaction is intended or not, and I just wanted clarification.
While Emma Frost is Armor Broken, she is forced into Telepath Mode. This means that she can be Stunned. While charging a Heavy Attack with Magneto, he gains X amount of Prowess from his abilities, but this also refreshes the Armor Break from his SP2.
However, when I refreshed the Armor Break, this also caused Emma Frost to shrug off the Stun as well, so I'm just asking if this is intended or not.
As you can see in the GIF, as soon as Magneto refreshes his Armor Break, it causes Emma to shrug off the Stun.
