Variant 1: chapter 3.1 Ultron boss

All the walkthroughs suggest bringing someone who doesn't apply debuffs because they set off Ultron's abilities (power gain, regen, etc.). What i'm wondering is if Vision Aarkus' sp2 armor shatter shuts this Ultron down like other robots. Aarkus works like a charm against the 5.4.6 Ultron, so if that's an option here, that's what i want to do. Any intel appreciated!

Isn't he only able to shut down robots with the OG / AoU Vision synergy? And that quest is cosmic & science only...
