Which 5* Champ should I take to rank 5?

I have a 5* Ghostrider and a 5* Captain Marvel Movie (both unawakened) and I only have enough resources to rank up one of them and I am hoping for suggestions.

I love Cap and her binary rocks, but I also have a 5* Blade (rank 5, awakened) and the Ghostrider synergy with him is super useful. They are both great champs and I will likely take them both to rank 5 eventually, but I know it will take me some time to build up the resources (Tier 5 cats and tier 2 alphas) to get the second one up.

Cap Movie, GR, and Blade are my AQ and AW teams - but if I pull a Starky I can see sitting Cap Movie for the synergy benefit. So, for that reason, I might be leaning toward Ghostrider but I thought I would ask for the opinions and expertise on the forums before pulling the trigger.

    So does that mean that everyone universally agrees that CMM is the way to go? Just wondering if that is why no one else is adding anything.

    I agree she is great, but I didn't think it was that obvious - especially because of the Blade synergy for Ghost Rider.

    Don't know where you're at in story, but Blade really isn't too valuable in anything past Act 5. I took mine to R4 and kind of regret it. And GR benefits him, but it's kind of a wasted spot that could be filled by someone better imo.

    CMM will help you in progression more than GR.Believe me I am a blade guy.Even I won't r5 GR before somebody like CMM.

    Thanks folks. I am uncollected and working on the rest of Act 5. These are my top champs and I am still working on a team of five strong 5* champs. I have GR, CMM, Medusa, Sunspot, and Blade (Blade is the only one awakened). I took Blade to R5 as someone I needed to help clear the content and help me run alliance quests to earn more resources...plus he is my only awakened 5*.

    GR and CMM I have progressed to R4 and Medusa and Sunspot are still R3.

    I feel like I need a strong team of 3 for quests/wars and then need to build out from there to keep working on other content.
