Heavy parry stun

I was using magneto code red against annihilus in aw, node 21. I charged a heavy, launched it, and annihilus resisted it. When he resisted it triggered parry, and parry triggered stun. Since heavies dont count as basic, at least from other node interactions I've seen, why did the stun trigger?

You can do that for example when i was fighting silver Surfer with doom i resisted a heavy parried and won its bc its a well timed block and basic attacks are Light Medium and heavy then SP attacks are different so you can well time block a heavy if you resist but its is very unlikely

Heavy attacks are considered basic attacks. If they are well-timed blocked, it will trigger the stun from the parry mastery

Heavies are basic attacks, since basic attacks are just non-special attacks. If someone has the stand your ground mastery, the cab get lucky with timing and parry your heavy attack.
