Red magneto going unstoppable in mid combo

In mutant island on legendary difficulty I will get a vid the next time i face him but the last two times i fought red magneto when im attacking him inbetween the first hit and second hit while using doom against him he is allowed to hit me with a heavy becoming unstobble smashing me for some ungodly amount of heath points..has anyone experienced this

    His heavy triggers the unstoppable, but unsure as to how he can heavy mid-of-your-combo

    Are you sure you aren't stopping your combo in order to perform an heavy attack?
