Is Iron Man (IW) worth awakening gem?

So basically I have 2 tech awakening gems and have been opening so many cosmic/tech crystals and either getting cosmics or trash techs. Just got IMIW and wondering if I should use one of my tech gems on him.

NOTE: I would use him on defense of course, but is he worth it for attack?
