Act 6 Compensation

Do we have a date for act 6 compensation since all the changes have been implemented? It would really help coordinate how I tackle my remaining abyss runs before cyber Monday.

I’m in the same position, hoping we receive something within the next 2-3 weeks. I’ll likely run my penultimate path next week, and just wait on the compensation for my last path.

There’s nothing necessarily unfair about it. I imagine it’s a pretty lengthy process to decide and then subsequently tier said compensation. It’s coming, we just have to be a bit patient I guess.

My guess is they are delaying it a bit so if peoples inventory is capped it wont expire before act 7 drops.

Yes, as far as I’m aware. They mentioned in their roadmap that adjustments to pain point fights would be the final changes they implement to Act 6, and those went live about a week ago.

Attack values were reduced significantly across 6.3 and 6.4, in some cases they were cut by up to 70%. Most of the pain point fights that were adjusted are now significantly easier.

We’re not really here to debate whether it’s necessary or not, we already know it’s coming. OP was simply looking to see whether there was any information he had missed regarding its delivery.

Any talk of no compensation for act 6 is a time waster and I don't want to clog the thread with a non issue because we know its coming already.

There are plenty of players that don't have an initial abyss run and are waiting on the compensation to do the finishing touches. I already have 10k plus units and could do it any time but I want to be as efficient as possible. It makes sense to line up my last two runs with compensation so the consumables don't expire. An update would be incredibly useful to how I will proceed moving forward.

Bro, I didn't even play the nerfed act 6 because I did it at least 6 months ago. Nobody is screaming compensation, we already know its coming we just want a date. Nothing about what I said is hard to understand.

You might have missed my previous comment, feel free to scroll up and check it anytime. No one is here to demand compensation, because it’s already been confirmed. People are simply here to see whether there have been any further updates in regards to when it will arrive.

Also as an FYI, reducing attack values by up to 70% is indeed a big change.

I’m not fussed either way - I did my 6.3 and 6.4 exploration entirely unitless as I was still saving for July 4th at the time. Any compensation at this point will just be additional resources for me to use in my final two Abyss paths.

Yeah I didn't even acknowledge that comment. You don't understand the game at all if you think they didn't nerf act 6 into the ground. (or the real reason is because you probably never played the original act 6) I know people that didn't even touch anything past 6.1 until they nerfed the champion fight. I originally didn't want compensation at all but Kabam far surpassed anything I thought they would do in terms of nerfing act 6 to the point where it's kind of embarrassing that they had to take it this far.

I would have thought the opposite. I assume they'll push compensation out so it will expire before book 2 is released. This would ensure people need to buy their own items to push through instead of getting to do it with compensation

They dropped the last one right around when the boss rush and V5 came out didn't they? I know I spammed some of it in V5 instead of starting paths over if I slipped up

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, I thought we’d get the attack value comp fairly soon after the recent update. Maybe they’re bunching it together with the pain point comp, who knows
