I just opened 8 crystals in one go (open "All Crystal" options, as spinning crystals is just too painful to see the near missed) and in theory I should've completed all 4 Deadly Sin: Envy tasks, but only unlocked the 1st task.
As it seem any overflow doesn't count on the next tasks, that seem a bit mean don't you think Kabam?

Or if purchased more, just open each separately.
You can stay in crystals screen (don’t have to go “claim” objective inbetween each of the 4 levels), just have to be separate instances of crystal openings.
