AW question

When it comes to AW seasons and off seasons. Does participating in wars during off season help with ranking in the following season? I know the scaling/rating system is a little weird (like a win for a 1 bg is about the same points for a lose 2 bg war), but does it help to start closing the gap during off season and boost the overall war rating?

    Depends on the tier you are in. If I'm not mistaken, T5 and above, the war ratings do not change during off-season.
    As for below, it's a risk you have to take if you want to push. Because while you boost your war rating if you do win and want to go to a higher bracket during season, you also have a chance to lose and drop war rating then.
