How to negate 626 champion regen.

I’m doing this fight on my mini acc. My only viable option right now is red guardian at r4 until I can take tigra up. Been suffocatingly short on t1a for months now as a solo player but that’s a different story.

Anyway I watch a player like munash solo this fight in sub 200 hits at r5 with RG and it seems simple enough.

On my main I can do this fight for fun with she hulk, double dex his specials, hit the intercepts every time and play aggressive.

Basic play with either champ is heavy attack to punish his specials (keeping him slowed) and straight in with stand up intercepts, build him to sp1 and repeat.

Now here’s the thing. Even on the nerfed event quest fight, I time out with R4 RG. I’m 200 hits in and he’s got nearly a full health bar having constant regen.

What can I be doing wrong vs shehulk?

I finish that fight in seconds comparatively, playing the same pace and tactics as far as I’m aware.

Any help much appreciated.

Most videos on the Champion were done before the nerf. That time, the unstoppable was bugged. The increased ability accuracy and duration didn't apply to it, but now it does. Typical slow champs are no more viable for a large portion of the fight. The reason is because the unstoppable can still trigger, and he gets the massive Regen off of it.

In addition, during his 70-40% phase, the stun is now consistent, and can actually trigger on you. In summary, use a nullify champ, or someone like sorcerer supreme. I feel most YouTubers should have taken down a lot of their champion soloes from youtube, because a lot of the videos are misleading to unsuspecting players. Wish they would just be noble for once.

Oh right, I forgot to add: shehulk is the best "slow" Champ other than sorcerer supreme for the fight nowadays, because she can remove the unstoppable with her heavy outside of needing to slow him.

So then with shehulk I’m just damaging my way through then?

She works fine. You just nullify the unstoppable with your heavy. Maybe that’s the difference.

Lols you posted same while I was writing reply.

Tigra it is then when I get her to r4. Annoyingly can’t practice on the eq version as need a synergy.

    Lol, good luck buddy 👍🏾
I powered through with my Claire. Was able to use stealthy for his below 40% phase. His spacing on his dashback makes it easier for Stealthy to dex his specials than Claire.
