Need Advise on keeping yourself interested in the game

Hello forum, I hope you are all doing alright. As many veterans on this game I’ve been playing for over 4 years now, in between that I took a long break so technically I’ve been playing less than 4 years. I started playing in October 2016 I fell in love with this game. So much have change you can argue that it has been a roller coaster and Kabam sometimes misses the mark and in other time they have hit it right on the nail. Its subjective for sure so a lot of you will agree and a lot of you will disagree. But I’m not here to talk about issues that have been extensively discussed, rather I want to hear from you the forum, the people who play this game. What things you have in place to manager your day to day life and keep yourself motivated to continue playing all aspects of this game I.e monthly quest, arenas, war and AQ? Do you have a system that helps you enjoy the game better ? Anything you can say I’d love to try it as my interest for This game has tremendously decreased

the single thing that helps me is remembering that it's just a game. it's something i open up when i have some time throughout the day to waste and have fun .... that could be right after work when i'm just winding down .. on the toilet ... on the train when i'm going downtown ... I remember when i'm not reading or whatever that i have this cool game i could level up a character in or enjoy the latest shenanigans of RNG lol

i always keep it in its proper perspective ... it's just a game. no different from when i play Xbox or PS. it's just something i do for fun. so i don't take it any more serious than that.

Thing is, the game IS incredibly repetitive, there really isn't anything new being added.

Dungeons turned into Incursions.
Arena is still a grind.
The main event, nothing changes except for adding more dumb nodes that limits your damage for no reason except to make it more of a grind and to eat up more time.
The side event can change sometimes, this month is incredibly boring, last month was much better, once all the bugs were worked out. The same dumb nodes are still here though, making it much more of a grind if your RNG isn't good enough to get the correct champs to make beating said node easier.

So, it boils down to, people have fun when they get a new champ they wanted, then they get bored again when Kabam makes a new node that basically requires a new champ that you don't have.

The only real fix for boredom is to step away from the game, and play other things, then, you can come back to this game when you want at your time, not Kabam's. This game just don't change much, if at all, so you can pick it up basically where you left it.

You don't have to keep interested in this game.
Try other games like Genshin Impact.

ROPG and highly popular nowadays.
It has crystal system like mcoc however much better cuz it has pity system.

Basically mean, after certain amount of pull and you still don't get a 5* items or character, the next pull will be a guarantee 5* item or 5* character.

One of the main reasons I lose interests is pulling terrible champs. However, with champions getting buffed every month, it keeps me going
