Punishing Entire Alliance:- is that fair gameplay?

Dear Game Team,
If certain individuals are cheating please ban them it a fair game. But don’t punish the entire Alliance!
We as leaders and officers have absolutely no tool to identify who is cheating and who is not. So cannot control this aspect of Alliance management.
After Playing skillfully the entire team is stripped of two full brackets in AW. Platinum-1 to Plat2. Just not fair.

not really. u cant identify one by normal means...u can suspect but thats all

It's pretty easy. Just ask your alliance mates to record every fight in AW. Simple as that

It isn’t tbh, if you’re in a top war ally you can’t tell if someone is being piloted or modded, they could just be an amazing player. Unless they explicitly state something it’s difficult to tell

You dont get to be rewarded for your alliance cheating, and yes they are in your alliance so they are part of your alliance. It is not fair to the rest of us who do not cheat.

I disagree. We pay close attention to how our members are performing, and we know what the nodes are like so we know how are players are usually going to perform.
As a rule we ask members to record our fights to see if when they die it’s because they’ve been daft - we can advise, or if they’re simply not good enough ultimately they’re probably going to be let go at the end of the season. On the flip side, we’ve got a few guys who absolutely smoke some of the hard matchups and we like them to share their footage so that we can learn.

What this does is we can see if a guy is playing dirty. If we have a player who suddenly gets better out of nowhere and they won’t share gameplay we won’t keep them. It’s usually obvious is an alliance is cheating when you watch them. We lost against an alliance who used 4* champs in attack a couple of seasons back and they one shot a T2 Doom with a 4* (back when the 3 min timers were still there). Obviously we reported them and I don’t know what came of it. That alliance dropped us into P2 that season, we were innocent but they cheated. I’d rather the 30 players of that alliance all got punished than a single one of my team.

You should know tour members and what they’re doing, certainly at such a high tier.

Yep but how much revenue do they make them? If they’re willing to pay someone to play - though I imagine in AW it’s more internal and there’s just the resident gameplay ninja - then I’d have thought they spend a lot of money legitimately in units/offers. A slap on the wrist and a loss of shards is probably the best compromise we’re going to get.

Lets be realistic guys. There is absolutely not solid way of knowing who is using what; Shady units for wars, mods, TPAs etc... etc... now Kabam has that technology let them ban these guys when they cheat why ban them last day of the AW season and kill the season for the rest of the team...

Im sorry for you guys. I know it must feel horrible if you thought you have only legit players.

But these cheater helped you get to the spot where you end as well. Saying the other ppl wouldnt face consequences wouldnt work. Then alliances would just use throw away accs to get away with cheating.

You cant please everyone and I think this is the best of bad solutions.

how do you think the people who played against your teams cheating accounts that you beat feel? How can you know that without them you would have won or not? You cannot. This is why when someone is determined to cheat the team takes a loss. It happens in team competitive games. It is what you accept.

inability of the alliance to chose non cheaters. Dude detecting cheating is not the easiest thing in the world, and if they are spending they have to make sure they get their ducks in a row to defend themselves. People have already told you how you can ensure people are not cheating, you dont want to go through those steps then you open yourself up to this.

You are not going to get much sympathy on these forums as pretty much everyone wants the cheating to stop.

Currently as a leader or officer i have not clue when one of the 30 members use mods or TPAs to clear AW AQ! So whats the assurance that next season we might get some new recruits and push for master and not get docked?

You’re lucky you just fell 1 spot. In all honesty, an alliance that cheats should not have a rank at all and be banned from the next war season.
