Recently you decided to make another Hulk (Immortal). Let’s call him iHulk for reference. After some recent gameplay, I’ve come to the following conclusion:
He’s not viable for any end game content that someone would focus on due to limiting and very fractured mechanics.
He’s fun under the right circumstances. I feel you can take him into ROL or something and pound away, but it means little. There are so many frustrating mechanics for him. Examples (not limited to):
Rage charges. I’m in the minority where I’m fine with them disappearing after 1.5s, but I’m order to make him more complete, he lacks something like +(1)% increase to stun on SP1depending on how many rage stacks he has. Something like that.
Gamma radiation. Cool, but he should get a bonus from his sig ability or something that any energy damage does + something to it.
There’s more but I don’t want to kill him totally.
Overall, he seems fun, but is lackluster. He’s probably the 4th or 5th best Hulk and that’s not a good thing.
I hope you add something to him before next week that helps him a little bit. He’s the Hulk, not Air Walker.
Anyway - overall I love your game, but this is a beloved character and I feel I can speak for many people when I say we hoped for more.
Thank you
Playing around with him more - the petrify is almost useless. It’s extremely difficult to activate and it’s 70%. If he can access a utility immediately, like She Hulk or something like that - it’ll give him some kind of use. Right now he’s a damage dealer in a few non-relevant fights.
The second heavy hit doesn't hit NEARLY as hard as I'd expect it to, and with a measly 4% chance to crit, I doubt you'll every see any nice numbers come from the second heavy hit. I guess I'm just confused as to why this is an ability if it serves little to no purpose.
@Rookiie this proves that they are listening and making him better
@FluffyPigMonster 📣
And thank you @Kabam Zibiit & team!
Edit: by the way @Kabam Zibiit it's actually 2 seconds and not 1.5 seconds. I just checked his abilities in-game and verified the same.
Thank you
You can knock yourself out quicker but man, the damage is real now.
On the cool down you have to start ending combos in an “L”. Otherwise you’ll bring yourself right back down to 1% immediately.
This is where I’d add some kind of utility to ending a 5 hit combo with an L. Slow or true strike or something debilitating that allows the user to have a chance to survive. You won’t be stacking gamma until you start ending combos w/medium again and now it’s way faster to damage yourself.
I think what would fix him to the end is some kind of agitation debuff when ending a combo with a L. Or you add 1 gamma radiation when you end a 5 hit combo with a L. Hear me out.
When he goes into cool down, you don’t want to be aggressive. In the comics and movies and cartoons when he doesn’t want to fight he’s not as agitated. Make the MLLLL cause him to have some kind of utility.
Something that slows down the opponent. Root would work here.
Ending an attack with a light attack causes the opponent to be “rooted” for 0.5 seconds (paralyzed by fear?).
Or make it a slow debuff for 5s or something.
Something to help him during cool down.
I’ll even take adding 1 gamma radiation ending a 5 hit combo with an L.
He needs some help during the cool down phase.
That’s the final piece that can help.
This new open communication and receptiveness to feedback has made me crave more content.
Although I don’t speak on behalf of the entire community, I can say most of us want to give you a collective thank you.
Thank you!!!!!
Specifically during the cool down phase where I’m trying to not get my health back down.
A “Slow” or “Root” or something that gives him the ability to slow down the opponent and let the timer expire without using that 2nd medium which eats up health.
