Being new to the game, the first dot I encountered were bleed and poison so I'm guessing they were the first. At the moment bleed is still the only one that does critical damage.
What I would like to see more are champions that can deal other forms of critical dot like critical poison, severe burns (For incinerate), fun and interactive degeneration.
It's not game-changing but it will make champions more interesting than adding new buggy dot.
