Rank Up Decisions

So I have a four star Captain Marvel (Movie), and Venom. Which one should I rank up?
Some context:
Both are four stars.
Both are rank 3 right now. I have cosmic awakening gems, and cosmic and generic sig stones, which I will use on whichever one I rank up.
I'm currently doing Act 5, so if there one of 'em will be more useful please let me know.
The champ will be included in my main team as the cosmic option.
I have a five star duplicated Venompool (who is absolutely useless in my opinion), so I need a good cosmic option. (I've got no other five star cosmics. Everytime I open a dual crystal I get a tech, so I've given up at this point).

In conclusion,
What do I do?

Uh, no, I don't
My main team consists of Ronin, Archangel, Warlock, Spiderman (Classic) (yes, I know, but he's my only six star), and BWCV

Gotta go with Venom then. Needing to ramp up CMM on every fight is pretty impractical and Venom is amazing.

I’d still go with CMM even if you don’t have fury. I still love my 4* CMM and I’m cavalier.
