6* featured accident

So I accidently bought 6* featured. Not opening it, already contacted support. Any info on how long can it take them to give back shards? I actually wanted to open 2 basics before next featured goes live.

    Pretty sure they'll help you out. Lots of forum posts about this kind of stuff (accidental unit offer purchase from pop ups). Main thing is don't use them take action on the champs or then it's not so much an accident. No idea how long it takes to resolve. I'd imagine 24-48 hours though as that's usually the response time, but that's just a guess.

    i wouldn't imagine that support would refund you anything for this "accident". but if they do, i'd be impressed. let me know what the outcome is because if i was support, i'd be like ... tough luck be more careful next time.

    From this help page:

    Crystal shards:

    We will need to be able to confirm the use of the relevant shards.
    The resulting crystal must be present on the account. If the crystal has been used, we will not return the shards.

    They so cancel things like that. My concern is time mostly, as I would love to have 2 more shots at current basic

    wow. that's pretty excellent of them. why do people rag on support all the time then? i mean honestly that is REALLY impressive of them to even consider doing that for summoners.
