Incursions invite Bug

This has happened twice now.
1.)My friend and I both want to do incursions
2.) we both enter an incursion lobby
3.) we both invite each other to join
4.) we both cannot join because we are in a lobby so we back out
5.). Now the invitation is expired, and all you can do is reject the invitation.
6.) finally, we can no longer invite each other since there is an ‘X‘ next to our names for incursion invites and I have no idea how long the ‘X’ lasts.
Does anyone know how long the ‘X’ lasts? And when can I try to invite my friend to incursion again?
