Contamination Chapter 2: Get a Clue locking me out of game/quests

Go down a path where I get a fight against a Cosmic Symbiote with a 345 rating. Start fight, game locks. Restart, tries to recover fight, locked again. After rebooting my iPad about 5 times the recovery screen thankfully goes away and I can do fight sin Arena, but I am now locked out of quests. So, I can't really play the game anymore. Please help.
