How good is 6* Cull Obsidian? Any tips and insights from those who use him as any version

I recently pulled Cull Obsidian from the 6* featured crystal. I never used him before but have seen people using him at high ranks. So I would like to have inputs from those who use him about his utility and playstyle, and whether I can upgrade him.
