Can anyone explain why Sym doesn't gain power in this fight? Nothing in the nodes should keep him gaining power since he doesn't get a power gain buff yet over a 67 hit fight I didn't gain a single bar the entire way.

    He gains a power gain buff when changing phases and at the beginning of the fight

    he gains power by power gain buffs, it's quick but it's a buff.

    Thats news to me. Doesn't say a thing about a buff in his info and I've never noticed a power gain buff. Sym, strange and sorcerer all gain their power passively so far as I've always known.
    It's pretty short. I guess you don't use him much? You usually wait for his next phase and sp3 while that power gain buff is active, so you have some power after sp3 and can reach sp2 faster

    Theres a node that removes supremes power gain so is a terrible champ for the fight probs doable but very long
