I exploring the whole thing in one sitting today, enjoyed very second of it. Didn't feel like I had to throw revives at it because of some unavoidable damage I couldn't counter, like in act 6. And every path was fun, there wasn't any paths where I was like "I dont have x champion so I can't do that path without having to spend 20 revives." Was a really great piece of content with great rewards.

It's was a "great piece of content " because it was easy , look how many people ran through it already... a lot average /slightly above average players was able to 100% so fast.

@Genious this is my opinion. Albeit, a very unpopular one judging by the number of disagrees. And a word of advice, ignore them. Many “veterans” here can tell you they dont mean much. Someone like GroundedWisdom, who has a TON of them, can tell you they mean nothing. And tbh i like a lot of his opinions.

inb4 Kabam closes this thread again.

Why do you think people who has different view with you are trolls?
I don't think people with different opinions are trolls but I think people who just insult people without even considering other people's point of views are trolls, which some people here are.

There is no endgame content. Kids should be happy. Turns out Santa is real and he appears in Kabam form.

One has to wonder why you’re still playing then. If you hate it, don’t play it. Seems fairly simple to me.
I love the game, hate new contents.

I guess you only love rewards. Hehe.
Nope, I love the content, and that’s why I loved 7.1. Because it was actually fun. In a game.

    Hehe.
I don't find it fun. Nothing too easy can be fun. You can't play a kid game and think it fun forever.

My feelings about act 7 is very negative to be honest.
    I agree with you.

Fun is subjective. To me, the Champion fight was fun. It was, have the right champs, play very well, get rewarded.

A7 seems more like, “have the right champ, cheese the fight”. There’s no “play well” element in there.

Yoy get rewarded in champion fight only a sa sense of accomplishment. Not in game
You guys (XNig and HI_guys) bring up a good point. I love the Champion fight. Its so rewarding and so is the grandmaster.

Which is where the mentality differs. Look at all the reward complaint threads, most are just thinking “what’s in it for me if I spend abit of extra time to clear this content?”

Then they complain that it’s not worth the time spent...

Tbh, if Story were to become progressional content, then maybe Variants should be real end-game content. V1 was very enjoyable because it required thinking out of the box and within class limitations. They got progressively easy (and boring).

If I can bring Venom, parry heavy then chain heavy someone in the corner for almost every fight on a map, I won’t call that “fun”.

It was the perfect combination of fun and challenging

    It wasn't challenging at all
If you're using god tier champs at r5 then yeah. It's a slight inconvenience at best compared to the atrocity of act 6. But it let us use other chamsp we couldn't have usually used
Act 7 it's supposed to be endgame content, and you should use 'endgame' champions
These trolls that disagree with this fact are the same people that will come to the forums and complain (or even cry) if something is challenging. They are the same people that complain about the Champion in 6.2.6. These people have ruined the game for endgame players
I disagreed and I liked The Champion fight. I don’t think story content should be ‘endgame content’. It should be progressional content. Content players turn to grow their account, they shouldn’t have to scour the rest of the game in order to play the core content of the game

Story content should give the resources to play the other content in the game.

I’m an endgame player and the game is not ‘ruined’. It’s just not what you want it to be. But the truth is the vast majority are enjoying it much more than previous content, so ‘stop crying about it’
So what should be endgame content then?
'Mid-game' players have Act 5, 6, Variants 2-6, Mothly EQ and now they have Act 7 as well.

What Endgame players have? Variant 1. You could say that we have AoL as well, but that's not true. In order to explore 100% AoL you just need 5 champs and a bunch of units. It's not difficult at all

And who said that the vast majority enjoys this type of content much more?

But hey, at least you explained why you disagreed
The sheer number of disagreed to your post alone shows that more people enjoyed act 6 than those who disliked it
We all know that these disagrees are from the usual trolls

In case you can't read, this is my problem. I thought I had made it already pretty clear

I don't like the aproach that Kabam has made, cause there is already plenty of content for mid-game players out there. They have Variants 2-6, Act 6,7 and the monthly EQ. And what endgame players have? Nothing

I don't mind having easy content that is targeted towards mid-game players. But I have a big problem if ALL THE NEW content is targeted towards them (this is what is happening right now)

But hey, at least you explained why you disagreed
I would lean towards more ‘challenge content’ like the maze being released for endgame players. And I would count abyss. In your own words ‘It’s endgame content so you should be using endgame champions’. The players this content is targeting, the ‘endgame players’ should pretty much have most champs in the game. If they don’t they’ve either got pretty unlucky or progressed super fast

And it’s pretty clear the vast majority has enjoyed it. There has been a multitude of threads on here, the reaction on Twitter and YouTube, and in the discord channels in part of all singing its praises.

Personally I wish it was a bit more challenging, but I had fun with it, and that’s all I really want from a game. I’ll take it over act 6 anyday.
There are plenty of people that have completed Abyss and they don't have a developed roster.
And I am talking for permanent endgame content. Do you think that Kabam will introduce a new category of quests? (for example there are Variants, Story quests)

And I am telling you again:
'Mid-game' players have Act 5, 6, Variants 2-6, Mothly EQ and now they have Act 7 as well.
Endgame players have Variant 1 and AoL

Do you think that the forums represent the community? The forums are FULL of people that they are mid-game players. Of course they are gonna like content that is too easy for them, cause they will be able to progress faster.
Oh and endgame players generally don't complain about anything. Cause if they complain, then mid-game players are gonna spam disagree or say stupid things
That’s why I said I was seeing these things in more than the forums. And more of them are endgame than you might realise

And no, I don’t think they’ll introduce a new type of quest. I think we’ll get the occasional piece of temporary content and a piece of ‘Everest content’ every couple of years, like LOL or Abyss.

And believe me, endgamers complain. Because that’s what a lot of them have been doing on here for the past 3 weeks.

Whether you like it or not, endgamers don’t represent a large portion of the playerbase. It doesn’t make much sense for Kabam to pour resources into content only the top 1-2% can play, compared to mid-late game content which is caters to a much wider category of players, which ultimately keeps them playing, and spending
What do you mean on Youtube and on Twitter? How many people like this new type of content?

If Kabam isn't going to release new endgame content 3-4 times per year, then a lot of players are gonna quit

You think that 3 weeks of complaining is a lot?
Go ahead and quit , bye. I won't miss you one bit. I've had a lot fo fun in 7.1 and will love the rest of act 7 too if it sticks to being like this. The 'endgame' that you're speaking up for is a minority in the game and kabam know what they're doing . Stop trying to find fault in everything. The game developers have no time to cater to your childish squabble. Have a good day.
Let me guess. You find Grandmaster to be difficult? Your favourite event was Gwenpool goes to the movies?
People like you are part of the problem. People that complain about everything that is challenging. People that want free rewards. People like you have ruined this game for endgame players

This minority that you are talking about, spends the most amount of money

What do you mean acts were made for mid game players? Acts are meant for all players. The only reason you're and "end game " player is because you wen tthrough those. Yes variant 6 was very easy for me because I had all the top villians ranked and max. That's the problem.

Rockypantherx has stated in another post that right now it's almost impossible to make difficult content because you have all the chamsp , counters ,and
Mid-game players have yet still to explore Act 6, 7. This means that they have already plenty of content to complete/explore in the future. Endgame players have none

Incase you missed the memo Kabam has already stated that they are going in a new direction with story contest . Adn if you have a problem with that take it up with Kabam and complain and let's see if they revert

But I have a big problem if ALL THE NEW content is targeted towards them (this is what is happening right now)
What do you mean acts were made for mid game players? Acts are meant for all players. The only reason you're and "end game " player is because you wen tthrough those. Yes variant 6 was very easy for me because I had all the top villians ranked and max. That's the problem.

Rockypantherx has stated in another post that right now it's almost impossible to make difficult content because you have all the chamsp , counters ,and
Mid-game players have yet still to explore Act 6, 7. This means that they have already plenty of content to complete/explore in the future. Endgame players have none
Well if you're going to call yourself endagamer then it's end game for you. Not much or any content left.

TBH, I feel both sides have valid points. I feel act 7 should proceed the way it is, but some new high level variant 1, pre nerf act 6 level content should be released for endgame players. Something that can't be blitzed through with units. High risk, high reward. Something like that can be untouched by the mid game players. But I disagree with the fact that content every player should do should be tailored to the top 5%. Just give them something to teethe on till the rest of us poor mortals catch up.
