Guilly 2099 life steal and heal reverse question

Just maxed out 5 star Guilly 2099 and am clearing some paths in 6.3.4. On the explosive personality path, the node includes a heal reversal.

My question is - does Guillys life steal pre fight ability count as healing? So will it be a bad move?

It will be reversed. Use the other two prefight instead, to avoid getting heal reversed when you drop below 15% 😉
