7.1.3 Backfire Node not always applying power sting

Hi all,
I'm currently on the 7.1.3 that's gonna sting / backfire path and am noticing that my parry isn't applying a power sting 100% of the time, in some cases I've gone pretty much the whole fight without applying a power sting (this was mainly happening in the Hyperion fight - very annoying!).
I've got a video showing that a power sting doesn't apply when I parry, but can't seem to workout how to upload it here!
Device and Version: iPhone SE 2020
Device Operating System: IOS 14.3
Game Version Installed: 29.1.0
Game Mode: Story Quest - 7.1.3
Champions Affected: Cap IW 5* R5, Void 6* R1
Active Boosts: No active boosts
