Medusa purifies Stun debuff against Apocalypse

Medusa's Signature ability states that she can putify a Stun debuff in order to use Auto-block. I used Apocalypse against her because he prevents Purify ability. Results: While stunned, Medusa was able to purify and autoblock me. Based on the information, it should not happen, right? Am I missing something?

PS: I tried on a Duel, so there are no nodes or any external change to the defender
