#psychic shielding confusion

I’m a bit confused how the interactions work, I just got out of the final fight in eq thinking a falter node great I’ll use prof x.... nope he’s missing still.
so confused as nothing in prof x abilities say his abilities don’t work vs this new # are we supposed to figure it out on our own every little interaction?
On the other hand it was only the falter node that was making me miss as stryfes ability on his s1 specifically says he does not go invisible vs other psychic shielding.
I’m pretty sure I wasn’t getting full special discount either vs strife is this a new hidden nerf to prof x and if so shouldn’t it be updated in his abilities to show he loses these abilities vs # psychic shielding?
