Sync issue

I had my account linked to my Google account.
Ι switched to a no Google service device so I need to sync my progress with a kabam account too. Everytime I create and link a kabam account it starts from the begginin. Please help.

I follow every step. I tap link and then kabam account. I tap create cause I don't have one and after I complete creating it , the game starts again from the start. Pls give me more specific informations
