Variant 6.3.2 bug

Trying to full explore variant 6. Going down the icarus path with x-23, bishop and moleman and I am getting degen regardless of number of fury stacks. I can just have 3, dex to bait a special, and then I degen. Doesn't matter who I use (venom, mags, doom, sentinel) always defense me. Is anyone else having this issue or am I just dumb and can't understand how icarus works?

Are the furies expiring? This also causes degen
