Why does Dr doom say things like “insolence” in the middle of a fight?

This is probably a really dumb question but sometimes when I am fighting with Doom, it says the word “insolence” on the left side and I get really confused why that happens... Is it an effect or something else because it is not in his abilities as far as I know.

Those pop ups are just there as an extra fun addition, almost to bring more life to the champions. They're comic book references and other champions have them as well.

As far as I'm concerned, they don't take away or add anything to the fight apart from banter.

I think he really means to say "insolvence", which is a state in which most players will find themselves before pulling him from a crystal

I find the little bits of text from certain champs quite amusing. Another example, when you intercept Goldpool he says "Rude!!" As another mentioned, there's M.O.D.O.K. and his myriad of phrases. Stealth Suit Spidey has a few choice phrases as well.
