Audio not working at all for iphone 8 iOS 11

Unsure if anyone else is experiencing any problems but I just bought the new iphone 8 yesterday and I can only hear game music and sound effects when i use my headphones. It does not work at all when I try to play the game without them. Ive gone through every menu on my phone and through the game I can find and nothing will make it work.
