Scheduled Maintenance Notice

I seem to be locked out of the game, getting a message about "scheduled maintenance" but seeing as I can't find any forum post or official twitter posts or any information whatsoever about upcoming scheduled maintenance or letting players know when the game will be down it seems clear I am having a network or game issue.
Anybody else having this ? Known solution?

    Scheduled maintenance always occurs on a Tuesday at 11pm pacific time. On average it occurs 1-2 times a month. I don't understand at all what is being done during this so called maintenance. I've never noticed anything that was fixed during this maintenance, so I have no idea why the do it other than to force players to stop playing the game for an hour or 2. Seems kinda pointless if you ask me.

    It takes around 2 hours. Almost 2 hours done now.

    Maintenance for the servers, usually. Upkeep. It's not necessarily for fixing in-game bugs, although some things can be resolved server-side.

    I haven’t logged out but cannot access the game. It doesn’t say maintenance, it simply states connection error
